Update with more positions achieved.

The season continues to produce decent performances for Rasbull Loft pigeons. Following the first two races of the season which we have already reported in our last post we have the following positions to report that Rasbull pigeons have achieved since.

Firstly, Mr and Mrs Winder clocked one to finish 2nd Club, 5th Federation from 3,069 birds. This was bred from Rasbull Kulpa 700 x Rasbull Boudicea. (See stock page for full details)

The same weekend G.Thomas & Son reported that one of ours had finished 3rd Club. 39th Federation from 1,649 birds. This pigeon was bred out of Rasbull  Rameses x Rasbull Kulpa 950) They also clocked another that finished 5th Club. (Rasbull Super-B x Rasbull Aphrodite)

Wayne Thomas then reported another Grandchild had finished 3rd Club from 88 birds. (Grandson to Rasbull Nemesis)

This week Mr and Mrs Winder reported that one of ours arrived with 2 others to finish 3rd Club. This pigeon was bred from (Rasbull Rameses x Rasbull Kulpa 950)

Our record for the young bird season to date now stands at:-
1st, 2nd, 5 x 3rd, 5th, 6th Club
5th, 6th, 8th, 17th, 19th, 39th Federation

So a great young bird season so far with positions being achieved all over the place which is very pleasing.

We have been spending some time planning for next season and have been sorting out our pairings that we will take into next season. We hope to bring some news regarding a couple of additions to our breeding team in the very near future.

Another 6 youngsters have gone out to our test loft of  Mr and Mrs Winder. In addition to this another 5 have gone to G.Thomas and Son.

We have 14 youngsters in the loft that have just been weaned off and 8 of these will hopefully be going to the Derby Arona OLR. The other 6 will be retained for our own stock purposes.

We have also been busy making changes to the loft and have altered the one section so it is now able to accommodate 12 pairs who will have access to the aviary. The pictures below show how the main breeding loft now looks in readiness for the new breeding season. In addition to this we have a section that can house another 6 pairs so we will have capacity for 18 pairs next year which help ensure our test lofts get a full round each to race for us.

We will keep you updated through the rest of the young bird season where we hope to bring news of further performances that our test lofts have achieved.
